🆕 What’s New?

• I attended the Magic show in NYC with my wife to help her pick up suppliers for her online store. As usual, I created a Notion database to help her keep track of what she bought.
• My wife got the Visual Merchandiser role at Anthropologie!
• Got an excellent new sitter for our dog Max.
• Trying to get better at finishing video games.
• Started working out again after a short break.

🚧 Hobbies & Projects

• Personal Site — Currently focused on wrapping the first release of the website. Starting to get a feeling of “all this work for such a simple website,” but I’m trying to stay positive.
• Playing with Notion, Make, and Webflow automation for my website.
• Figuring out the best blogging workflow between Craft, Notion, and Obsidian.
• Finished cleaning and fixing the rooftop ponding issues, so we will now convert it into a playground and walk area for Max.

📱 Apps I’m Trying

• Habit — After years of looking for a habits app similar to the way of life but with widgets support that fit into my mental model, I found this app that, although its UI is unconventional, checks all the boxes.
• Mona & Ivory — I switched entirely from Twitter to mastodon. I like these two clients the most after trying out a few other betas for other apps.
• Sofa — Using this app to track my downtime, movies, tv shows, and video games.
• Arc — Giving it a try specifically for Webflow; the UI is minimal, making webflow.com feel like a native app. Use my invite code.

🎮 Playing

Thanks to the new LG C2 77”, I’ve got into the habit of playing a little bit more.

• Hogwarts Legacy — My first PS5 game with the new console, looks fantastic, especially with the LG C2 77.
• Metroid Prime: Remastered — I never played the original one, so this one is entirely new.
• Star Wars Battlefront 2 — I finally finished the game after four years, lol.
• Pokemon Violet — I finished the main story and still need to go through the post-game content.

🧱 Building

• Tie Bomber 75347 — This set surprised me and looks fantastic alongside the regular smaller tie fighter.
• AT-TE Walker 75337 — A perfect improvement over the last one from 2008.

📚 Reading

Not reading any books at the moment. I’ve added more personal blogs to my RSS feeds, so reading those in the mornings has been a joy.
